Complimentary DiscoveRx University Workshop & Wet Lab

Drug Discovery 101: Introduction to Assay Development, Screening and Selectivity Profiling

Nov. 5th, 2014 | Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute at Lake Nona | 6400 Sanger Road, Orlando, FL 32827 | (407) 745-2055

About the Program
DiscoveRx is proud to support the Florida Translational Research Program (FTRP) by sponsoring this unique 1-day Workshop and Wet Lab event. Attendees will learn more about the FTRP and how their research programs can benefit from the drug discovery expertise at Sanford-Burnham. They will also receive an introduction to DiscoveRx’s comprehensive suite of in vitro screening assays and predictive pre-clinical disease models to enable the identification and classification of highly potent and selective compounds. During the wet lab portion of the workshop, attendees can expect to gain invaluable hands-on experience with a variety of innovative cell-based assays from DiscoveRx and execute experiments that will serve as robust preliminary data for their FTRP grant applications.

Partial Speaker List:
